You're welcome to send up to three flash pieces of 1,000 words or less. Please include all work in a single document with each new piece beginning on a new page. Creative nonfiction can include personal, research, or lyric essays as well as memoirs. Fiction can be of any genre or style. Please clearly state if you are submitting fiction or nonfiction in your cover letter and include page numbers and a word count on the document.
We want work that's fluid and funky, connected and coiling. We love work about how we shape the land and how the land shapes us. We want poems that pull you in and don't let go. We want a beaver dam of a piece that keeps the perfect amount of water in, prose we can build and live in for years to come. Help us form this creative landscape with your lovely words!
